Overview
These events are either entirely off-road or mostly off road, so you will need a pair of trail shoes, road shoes are not a good idea. The routes will take in the best the Bowhill Estate and the surrounding Border Hills have to offer.
There will be a mixture of hard packed paths and muddy trails with challenging climbs and exhilarating descents.
Courses may be subject to change depending on weather conditions in the lead up to the event.

This event is trying to raise its game. Yes, it's small stuff, but it's a start, and every bit helps. There are two main changes:
- Cups: feed station cups are our biggest source of waste. So we're stopping using them. Completely. Single use cups are entirely avoidable. There will be no cups at feed stations. You will need to bring your own hydration system, whether this is a camel back, hydration vest, soft bottle or simply bring your own collapsible cup, carry this with you and we will top it up at the feed stations.
- T-shirts: Many of you love and use them, so they will continue to be a race memento. When you enter you will have the option to choose "No T-Shirt". The cost of your entry will remain the same, and the equivalent of the cost of your T-Shirt will be donated to the selected charity.
