Event overview

Many travel to the island for one of our biggest events, building friendships that last a lifetime. The festival comprises four races, with competitors able to enter as many as they want. It begins with a flat road 5K on Easter Friday before moving to a 4.75 mile cross country the following day. Sunday sees a 4×1 mile team relay (you can be assigned a team if you don’t have one) before finishing on Easter Monday with a 10K road race. The EY Easter Running Festival has an excellent reputation for its quality and friendly competition from the front of the field throughout standards and ages. Entries can be made on an individual basis or as part of a team of four runners, with prizes on offer for top placed finishers.

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
