Event overview

Brandon Country Park is in the very heart of the beautiful Thetford Forest.

There is a 6-hour event starting at 9am or a 4-hour event starting at 11am. Run as far as you can during the time, plus a little bit more if you're lucky. As long as you leave Base Camp by 5:59:59 you get to run another lap! Rest between laps then head out for more.

The 5.3K lap through the forest consists of gravel footpaths and some grassy areas - so a true multi-terrain course.

You may be completing your first official 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or even Ultra Marathon, or it may be your 100th or 1000th event!

With next to no navigation, no special kit requirements, an aid station every lap and straightforward logistics - this is ideal for going further than ever before.

There will be a bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race. Or if you choose the 'green' lucky dip option, you will choose from a selection of previous medals.

This event is part of FEAR (Forget Everything And Run).

A must attend race organiser! Friendly, fun, well managed and attentive staff! 2nd event and really happy. Luke C

Brilliant welcoming and well organised events. These are such brilliant events. These events are friendly, supportive and encouraging. If you need to do a few more laps or miles then you can simply add on so they are also great for training. Would thoroughly recommend! Michelle TR

Definitely hotter and hillier than expected but everyone was super supportive! The marshalls were excellent, and the base camp team were so encouraging and friendly during and afterwards. Really enjoyed my second run with the club :) Zoe T

More hilly than I’d expected but a brilliant event. Everyone was very positive and supportive and it’s brilliantly organised. It was super hot today so I would have loved a wet sponge or two to cool down but can’t fault the organisation and support. Lauren G

Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
