Event overview

Since the first event in 1982, thousands of runners have completed the race and the race has become the highlight of the year’s sporting calendar in Fleet and the surrounding area. Organised by Fleet & Crookham AC – we are all runners ourselves and volunteer to organise grass roots events. UK Athletics Race Licence #28085. A gently undulating but fast course with personal best potential. Course is traffic-free with some minor route revisions for 2025 removing the switch back in the first mile and making the popular loop of the town slightly longer. An ideal build-up to the London or other spring marathons. Run local and support grass roots athletic club organised events. Pace Makers for 1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10 and 2:20 finish times. Well-marshalled route – over 125 cheering you on your way. ChampionChip Timing gives you a personal time. Professional medical support. Free professional race photography. Experienced organising team, we are all runners too. Major benefit for national and local charities. Great local support on the route. An opportunity to volunteer and support a local event even if you don’t run it. Founder member of the British Association of Road Races.

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
