Forest of Dean Autumn 5K Run

This 5K Run is being organized as a separate event to complement the Forest of Dean Autumn Half Marathon which is being held on the same day. The event is organised by the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean to support Rotary charities. We are very grateful for the involvement and support of a host of individual volunteers, together with number of local organisations who make this event successful, including the Forestry Commission and the Speech House Hotel. This run will use an entirely off-road circular course on firm forest tracks. The track is mostly compacted gravel and as such suitable for running in trainers. There is only one notable descent and climb at around the 2km mark. The route will be well signed and will have marshalls throughout the course.
