Event overview

Set alongside Grasmere Lake, the village is surrounded by a panorama of fells and mountains. Grasmere is perhaps best known as the home of William Wordsworth, described as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found." The 10km route takes in parts of Grasmere Village, Grasmere Water, Rydal Water, and passes Rydal Caves at its peak. The 5km route is perfect for beginners and follows a scenic lap of Grasmere Water.
