Get your plates of meat ready, this here is a good old-fashioned knees-up around the beating heart of London's East End. With flat caps aplenty, walkers are guaranteed an authentic East End experience and an all round great day out!
This walk is a firm favourite in the London events calendar for all ages and abilities and one not to be missed. Along the way you will find out more about some of the hidden treasures of the East End plus you‘ll be kitted out with t-shirt and route map to follow at your own pace.
This year’s walk will celebrate the life of loved ones who are no longer with us. Fundraising in memory of a loved one is something that lots of hospice supporters treasure and it is an amazing way to celebrate their life.

Kelly walked in memory of her Nan
I’m walking to remember my late Nan Caroline Doyle. At the end of my Nan’s life, she sadly didn’t get the opportunity to engage with the Hospice but I was able to attend bereavement counselling. This gave me a safe place to work through feelings and understand the process of my Nan’s journey, and the ability to also support family members with the process of losing a loved one.
I’ve decided this year to do the Great East End Walk again because having shared my gratitude towards St Joseph’s Hospice my friends and family would like to support the Hospice too! Together we will remember my Nan and are looking forward to walk in our local East End Area.
