Amazing event through and through. My only advice to anyone thinking of doing it is don’t think — do! But definitely train on the road, not just a treadmill, beforehand… I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus today π Natalie H
Very well organised event with really good transport links and a super-flat course. Billy S
Great event, very well organised with a brilliant atmosphere all round. Lisa B
I liked the event a lot. My first time at the GSR and a very enjoyable experience. Spectator support was great and I’ll be coming back next year. I did struggle to find the luggage tent and missed the warm-up, but that was down to arriving later than planned. Overall, it was a great day. Monika K
First time — will definitely be back next year! Helen M
My first ever 5k and a great experience. Both my children did the Mini and Junior races too. A fantastic day out. Mark G

Very well marshalled, well organised and with lovely views on a nice flat course. Jennifer P
A great South Run experience. The course hasn’t changed much over the years and local support is brilliant throughout. A good race and I’m glad to be part of such a huge event. Anthony Q
