Overview

You begin by following the North Downs Way towards — and then past — Box Hill before heading south to join the Greensand Way.

Once on the Greensand Way, a beautiful woodland trail, you turn west for the first major challenge: the climb to Leith Hill, the highest point in the South East of England. From there, you continue along the ridge, ticking off summits including Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill, each offering sweeping views to the south. Finally, you turn north towards Shere and run back to where you started.

Matt is a very experienced ultra runner so we bombarded him with questions! I learnt an awful lot during the day and came away from it very enthusiastic and excited for my ultra plans ahead. Marie Heracleous

Had a fantastic day out on the trails with Running Adventures. Matt has a huge amount of experience and was happy to share tips and advice on everything running. Would definitely recommend. Ben Murray
