Event overview
These popular night trail races return to Haldon Forest, bringing headtorch adventure to twisting woodland tracks. Choose from a single-loop 10K or a 5K route.
Both races start and finish beneath the official arch. Courses have been carefully adjusted to measure just over their official distances.
Young runners can join the fun with a one-lap 1K race (ages 3–7) or a two-lap 2K race (ages 8–11). Children aged eight and above may enter the 5K if accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults can run with children in the junior races at no extra cost, making it a true family-friendly night out.
Routes are clearly marked with large reflective arrows and poles, making navigation simple and distinct from Forestry England signage. Head or chest torches are essential. A strong, wide beam will help you spot markers clearly and run with confidence.
Run for glory with prizes for overall and category winners, plus awards for the best hats on the night!
