Happy Valley Trails Event | 10K

The Happy Valley Trails event was established in 2022 as a running event in the hills and valleys surrounding Bollington. Locally the event has started to build a reputation for being at the more arduous end of the difficulty spectrum. Make it your next challenge! Entries now available. The 2025 race was a sell-out…don’t miss out! Half Marathon Route - Not your typical half marathon! Approx. 770m total ascent over Kerridge ridge and Sponds Hill followed by a real sting in the tail up White Nancy! Mixture of farmland, rocky descents and beautiful woodland. Two aid stations on course. Typically takes 30 minutes longer than a flat course. NEW FOR 2026 - To ensure runner safety and avoid participants being out on remote trails later in the day, anyone who has not reached the 6km point within one hour will be directed onto the 10km route by our marshals. 10k Route - Same start and end as the half marathon. 390m of total ascent including White Nancy and Kerridge ridge. One aid station on course.
