Event overview

Perfect for those new to long distance running, or those looking to get back into the swing of things, this fairly flat route will have you whizzing around the course. A UKA approved and correctly measured 13.1 mile course that starts and finishes on Days Green in Headcorn which is situated on the main A274. Once out of the village the road takes you on to the Smarden Bell, Egerton Forstal and Southernden before returning to Race HQ. Most of the course is fairly flat with a small rise at 5 miles and undulations between 8.5-10 miles. The race is capped at 500 runners and entries have reached this figure every year since its first appearance in 2014. Race HQ is at Headcorn Primary School where you will find registration, and toilets. Excellent marshalling, signage, medals and trophies (includes team and age groups) all add to a great race experience. Come and run your PB here! Chip timing will be provided.
