Heights Ultra Trail

This event takes you through the heart of the two picturesque Colne & Holme valleys on the edge of the Peak District National Park. This life affirming journey of 50 miles has a highest peak of 582 metres and an elevation gain of 1834 metres. A memorable journey on foot of 50KM with the highest peak at 582 metres above sea level and an elevation gain of just over 1000 metres. This run takes in the breathtaking scenery and enduring landscapes of the Colne and Holme Valleys. New to 2024, the 27km route takes on some of the most breathtaking parts of both the Colne and Holme Valleys. With over 490m of elevation, it’s a challenging distance over some exciting terrain! A great middle distance event! The Heights 10k event is super mix of trails, road and paths and taking in the beautiful Blackmoorfoot Reservoir. All the events are being organised for charity purposes with proceeds going directly to 3 local primary schools. Choose either of our HUTFEST Junior cross-country races to enter. Our 4KM race for all children U16 or our 1KM run for children U11 and their families. Both runs take place around the Colne Valley High School grounds.
