Heritage Trail Series - Winter

Heritage Trail Series is made up of four 10km trail running events taking place in spring, summer, autumn and winter. They will be set in a beautiful rural location that doesn’t normally allow running to take place, offering an exclusive and unique running experience. Our first event will take place at the stunning Leonardslee Gardens - a unique Grade I listed woodland and gardens offering beautiful lakes, sculptures, wildlife (incl.wallabies!), vineyards and a romantic Grade II listed house complete with restaurant. The routes chosen for Heritage Trail Series at Leonardslee will be mainly off-road with the occasional road section. Underfoot, you’ll be mostly on hard packed, manicured trails making for a lovely running experience. The Heritage Trail Series is not about serious racing or chasing PBs. Routes will be challenging but will be designed so as to explore the best parts of the venues. Winter - The deciduous trees take on a majestic appearance and the gardens become very peaceful. On a frosty morning you will see the magical mist over the lakes, which creates a mesmerising theatre as the light changes throughout the day.
