Event overview

In addition to our great marshalling and organisation, and a genuine warm welcome to all participants, the event includes chip timing; a lovely medal for all finishers and the option of a fabulous HL10K Technical T-Shirt for every finisher. Organised as a partnership between Lymm Runners and the High Legh Community Association the High Legh 10K is a truly community based event organised by running club members and residents of High Legh Parish. The Robert Moffat Memorial Race has a fantastic reputation as being friendly to runners of all abilities as well as spectators. And although early March might be a bit chilly, you can be sure of a warm welcome from the whole of High Legh. The race starts and finishes at the primary school in High Legh. The school is our race HQ; race registration, baggage drop, loos, First Aid and the perfect place to meet up with your running partners (or support crew) before and/or after running. Irresistible home-made refreshments are available for sale from the PTA; tea, coffee and soft drinks, breakfast barms and delicious cakes… No wonder the race has a friendly, community feel!
