This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
This race follows an out and back route along the scenic Trans Pennine Trail with a variety of distances to choose from.

This was a lovely race and would love to enter again next year. The organisers were all great and there were so many cakes/sweets/treats/drinks available at the end. Catherine O
We turned up to a tent full a cakes, a load of smiles from the organisers and glorious sunshine. Registration was quick and simple. The race brief was clear and concise. the course was very simple out and back on the trains pennine trail. The marshals are always great and the feed stations have snacks and a variety of drinks.
