The cause

Combine your love of cycling with helping some of the most disadvantaged children in the UK.

Some of the young carers Honeypot supports care for over 50 hours a week for a disabled or unwell parent or sibling.

  • Average fitness

Ability level

The ride has been designed for most standards of cyclists (except complete beginners).

Check the daily distances and elevations to make sure you are happy with your level of fitness vs the challenge above, and then start some training to minimise the gap! A training plan and guide are available.

guides

A sweeper vehicle will pick up any slower riders who would rather catch a lift to the next hotel. There are no cut-offs, you'll still be able to ride the next day and no one would be asked to leave the challenge based on speed. The team will help you to the finish line.

There is no doubt we could not have done it without PIE. You, Tina, Paul, Aiden, Dave, James, Jonathan, Roger, and not forgetting Ben have been fantastic. Firstly by organising the trip we wanted in a way that worked for us, the professionalism of your team and the fantastic way they kept us on track and motivated. Wendy E, Paris to Amsterdam

I've been lucky enough to ride on four or five events organised and run by Tina and the team at PIE. They have always been brilliantly organised, and they achieve a great blend of managing to marshall a bunch of riders of very different ability, whilst keeping a great sense of humour and making it fun for everyone. The cycling guides are fantastic. Chairman of Morrisons & Chairman of N. Brown plc

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you and the rest of the team for a great trip. Ian, Steve and Baggy were great company, ran a great event and all of the participants were extremely happy, even some drenching on the final day did not seem to lower their spirits when they reached the finish line. Steve Lindsay, Challenge Events Executive, CARE International UK

Tina and her team have faultlessly led 10 trips. It is a magical combination of impeccable organisation, appropriate care for safety, health and having fun. To return to the same supplier 10 years in a row has to say something about the quality of the service. Tesco Main Board
