Event overview
If you like spooky races in spooky places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and lots of Halloween goodies at the finish line.
This event will naturally have a Halloween theme, there's no pressure at all to dress up but feel free to do so. The cake table will reflect the theme of the event.

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
All runners will receive a bespoke medal, chocolate and beer (or alcohol-free drink). Trophies are awarded to the first male and female runner runner in each distance.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
Runners will trail along the tranquil Leeds to Liverpool Canal (Kirkstall). This out and back route is an entirely flat route, making it perfect for beginners who want to take in the beautiful lakeside sights. The flat surfaces are also ideal for seasoned athletes who are looking to smash through their PB's.There will be plenty of water and aids stations located throughout the course.
Why not spook us with your Halloween fancy dress?
This event is part of Hubble Bubble | Day 2.

What's not to like about cake and beer at the end! Great value too. Jane F
My first time taking part in a Grim race, there were fewer people taking part than I thought there would be but apart from that it was better then expected! Great selection of treats at the end with special efforts to make sure there was vegan options available too. I appreciate the efforts not to produce too much waste, there were jugs to fill water bottles which was easy enough. Will be signing up again soon! Emilia J
Absolutely fantastic event with seamless organisation! Matthew F
They are well organised, have stunning routes, great communication through email and their Facebook page and chat group, and they provide the best post run experience with a fabulous medal, full sized chocolate bars, beer, drinks, sweets and as much cake as you can eat. Charlotte
Both the 10km and 1mile (kids run) were well organised. Lovely day. Natasha G
Loved it! Well organised, friendly staff, fantastic medals and prizes and super goody bags which also catered for my coeliac son. Thank you we'll definitely be booking onto the next one! Jasmine C
