Event overview

We are delighted to announce Ipswich Town Foundation* as our new charity partner for 2026! By supporting this charity, every step our runners take will help to open doors for young people and vulnerable adults to access a variety of development programmes – boosting confidence, wellbeing and community spirit. For 2026, the event will once again start and finish among the appropriately sporty surroundings of Portman Road, home to Ipswich Town Football Club. The race follows a winding route from the stadium through Ipswich’s main shopping area and around its historic centre, passing landmarks such as the Corn Exchange and Town Hall on the way. A much-anticipated summer event, the Ipswich Twilight 10k is always warmly supported by spectators, who turn out in their hundreds to cheer on competitors as they weave their way through the town. There are two other supporting events on the racing schedule – the Suffolk Schools mass participation Daily Mile and the Family Wave. These shorter races are designed to appeal to younger runners and to family groups.
