Following the iconic 'breakfast run format' there are three distance options through the leafy borough of Kingston-upon-Thames from the ancient marketplace, providing an atmospheric event.
Formerly known as the Kingston Spring Race Day run, the traditional Kingston 8 mile loop is a single lap with the 16 mile runners completing a second circuit, and the 20 milers following two laps plus an additional four miles on the river tow path.
The timing of the event makes it ideal for those runners preparing for a spring marathon such as Brighton, Manchester or London.
The start and finish are both within the famous ancient marketplace providing an exciting start and an atmospheric finish, with plenty of stalls offering a variety of foods, and many local restaurants and pubs for those looking for more leisurely post-race relaxation. Professionally organised, there are plenty of friendly and experienced marshals to guide you safely around the course.
