Knaresborough Crag Rat Run

This established and successful 5-mile race is based firmly in and around the town, starting and finishing at Knaresborough Cricket Club. It takes runners down the ancient crag, along trails, past the historic St.Robert’s Cave, through Birkham woods, and along the beautiful River Nidd before ascending back up the crag to the finish line. Approximately half the race is on tarmac. There are prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers, plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd female finishers (if different), plus a range of spot prizes. All finishers receive a medal.
