Event overview
A gravel ride from London to Paris.
Four days of fast gravel riding from London to Paris, via Dover and Calais. Fast and exhilarating riding across the Kent and North Downs, followed by 3 days on tracks and trails through the beautiful Picardy countryside.
Day one is a leg warmer in preparation for the extensive gravel riding across Northern France, the group will set off early from Cyclefit's Store for a gently graded 50-50 tarmac and gravel ride to Dover.
Day two leaves Calais shortly after breakfast and heads for the hills to ride along a series of farm tracks and tiny lanes towards Willeman where the group will stay in an Auberge.
Day three is a long day in the saddle; fortunately, much of the morning is on tiny lanes. Stopping in Amiens for a late lunch and a quick look at the magnificent cathedral before joining an old railway line toward Beauvais.
Day four gets the group closer to Paris and the villages are becoming a tad smarter. Stop off in Claremont for a quick break, before follow the Oise river before the final climb into the Seine Valley, approaching Paris on a fine bit of pave. Ride into the centre of Paris beside the canal before heading to the Île de Cité and Notre Dame.
In Beauvais the group is staying near the Cathedral in a 4 star hotel and in a 3 star hotel in Paris near the Bastille.

Day one
