Every four years there is a leap year in February. This is a great opportunity to run, walk or jog any distance on 29th February 2024.

Event overview

It takes approximately 365.25 days for Earth to orbit the sun. It is the .25 every year which creates an extra day (known as a leap year) every four years. 

To mark this occasion, there is a virtual race planned for Thursday, 29th February. 

You will be rewarded with a finishers medal for your achievement.

What's involved

Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere on 29th February 2024. 

Distances accepted: 5K, 10K, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. Treadmill activities also accepted.

What's included

Receive a beautiful white aluminium finishers medal with a plain coloured ribbon

What happens after the challenge

Once you have completed your challenge, simply upload a screenshot of your activity as evidence and you'll receive your finishers medal!
