- Sustainability policy
Sustainability is at the core of the Lee Valley Half Century.
This event rides through the beautiful landscapes of Chingford Plain, Epping Forest, and Lee Valley, and is committed to protecting the very environment that makes it so special. The organisers are reducing single-use plastics, encouraging all riders to bring reusable water bottles, and providing clearly marked recycling and waste stations. Where possible, the organisers partners with local, eco-conscious suppliers and promote cycling, walking, and public transport to reach the event. By taking part, you're not only enjoying an incredible route โ you're helping the organisers keep these green spaces thriving for future generations.
