Take on a 100km challenge that circles the entire city of Leeds in one epic day. Follow the Leeds Country Way and discover just how wild the cityโ€™s edge can feel.

Youโ€™re never more than seven miles from Leeds City Square, yet the route feels truly rural. Expect sweeping West and North Yorkshire views, peaceful trails and constant variety underfoot.

Overview

The Leeds Country Way is approximately 80% trail and 20% road / tarmac. Weather can change the underfoot conditions drastically.

Waymarkers/navigation

The Leeds Country Way is already waymarked with the famous Owl symbol.

All competitors will be provided with a route GPX.

It will be the runner's responsibility to navigate the course correctly, which is why we strongly recommend using the GPX as a backup to the markers.

Note, only posts and trees can be marked, so a bit of vigilance will be required through fields, etc.

Crew/pacers

Pacers are allowed. Runners are allowed crew at any point on the course. Runners will be instantly disqualified if found that pacers are carrying any mandatory equipment belonging to the entrant.
