Public transport
Garforth and Farsley were specifically chosen to be the start/finish points due to their access to public transport and local amenities. Both Garforth and Farsley are accessible by bus and train (within 15 mins of Leeds). Both starts and finishes are located within 15 minute walk of a local train station (Garforth and New Pudsey) and will be at a warm indoor venue with access to toilets, hot drinks.
On Saturday trains services starts with time for you to get to registration around 6am after dropping your vehicle off in Farsley. On Sunday we would advise heading straight to Farsley and returning post race as the trains are less frequent.
Bag transfer
Bags for warm clothing will be transported from the start to the end each day.
- Optional medal
- Optional t-shirt
- Public transport links
Medals and T-shirts are often a standard provision of race entry, but this can sometimes mean you take home extras you didn't really want (or leave them behind!).
To ensure you get exactly what you want, there is now the option to add a medal or t-shirt to your entry order. This means the event can minimise waste and keep down the cost of the standard entry for all.
If you fancy doing a good deed, you could also make a 'Trees not Tees' donation. This will pay for a tree to be planted...an ever-growing memento of your race day!
