The walk was well organised, and enjoyed by everyone that took part. The distance was perfect - long enough to get sponsorships etc, but not too long that people felt they didn't or couldn't complete it. It was good to raise money as a team. One of Missing People's corporate partners

The walk went well, and I found that people in my networks were aware of Missing People and very supportive of the cause. Missing People Trustee

Missing People

Raise or donate as much as you can.

By organising a sponsored Light the Way walk, you’ll be shining a light for every child and adult who goes missing in the UK and sending your support to the family that misses them.

You could walk in tribute to a loved one, or walk to raise awareness of their missing appeal.

About the charity

Someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK.

That means life is lonely, scary and uncertain for 160,000 families every year.

Right now, people are searching for children, fearing for their safety. Searching too for mums, dads, siblings and grandparents who suddenly feel very vulnerable.

But with your help, Missing People can be there to support the missing and those who love them, for as long as it takes.

They’re the only UK charity dedicated to supporting missing children and adults, and their loved ones.
