Event overview

Everyone rushes over the line stabbing for their GPS STOP button! What will be your average speed, can you sneak into 20mph plus? Many of you ride your furthest ever, your first 100 miler or maybe go 262 for a massive day in the saddle. For 2024 we’ve made some changes to the event. We’ve chopped out Scunthopre’s Urban Jungle and found some more of the roads you love. This has allowed the 262 to hit Lincoln and complete a lap of the City, including the infamous cobbled climb! The route is an “out and back” which means you’ll pass riders heading the other way, where will you pass your friends? Come back next year and try to pass them further up the road! There are now 3 route options and they all spilt at each of the feeds. This gives us a really great 50 mile option as well as giving you all the choice of where to turn. Reaching your limit? Just turn around in the road and head home! Velo29 are all about inclusivity and achievement. 262 reinvented gets more people that massive day in the saddle with the best support you could want!

This event is part of Lincoln 262.
