Lock 2 Lock 10K

Simply navigate the locks by exiting the river at marker Buoys, then walking through the lock and re-enter the river at marked points. After 2k you will exit the river at the first lock, Pink Hill. At 4k you will exit the river at the second lock,  Eynsham. From Eynsham to Kings lock, is a 4K swim. Exit at Kings lock, 8K covered. The final 2K swim towards Godstow, and finish. The over-all distance is 10K, including the walking sections. The 10k Lock to Lock swim from Farmoor to Godstow, follows the River Thames downstream through the picturesque landscape of Wytham Woods and Oxford University pastures. This is a beautiful upper stretch of the River Thames. Swimmers should have trained and be ready to complete this distance and  be familiar with open water swimming. Wetsuits are mandatory unless you gain our permission before the event. The cut-off time for the distance is 4hrs 30min due to time restrictions for other river users.
