Set in beautiful Loggerheads Country Park near Mold, this welcoming trail half marathon offers an inclusive challenge for all abilities, with a generous cut-off time and stunning natural surroundings.

The course follows a varied 7km loop completed three times, combining riverside paths, trails and country lanes. Each lap passes the start/finish for feed stations and great support.

Overview

The Loggerheads Half Marathon takes place on a varied 7km loop through the scenic trails of Loggerheads Country Park, completed three times to make up the half marathon distance. The route combines riverside paths, woodland trails and short country lane sections, creating a constantly changing trail running experience.

Expect a mix of terrain and gradients throughout, with sections of smooth runnable trail alongside more technical paths that keep things interesting. Each lap returns to the start/finish area where feed stations and supporters create a lively hub before you head out for the next loop.
