The TCS London Marathon is the most popular marathon on the planet with a world record 840,318 people entering the ballot for this yearβs event.
The 2025 event is the 45th edition and is set to make history by becoming the biggest marathon ever held anywhere in the world. More than 56,000 people are expected to take part in the 2025 TCS London Marathon, which would beat the current record of 55,646 finishers set by the TCS New York Marathon in November 2024.
Its route tours the capital's most famous landmarks and enjoys incredible crowd support! The TCS London Marathon is broadcast live on BBC platforms in the UK and in more than 190 countries around the world.
