The TCS London Marathon is the most popular marathon on the planet with a world record-breaking 1,113,813 people entering the ballot for the 2026 event.

The 2026 event is the 46th edition and is set to make history by becoming the biggest marathon ever held anywhere in the world. More than 56,000 people took part in the 2025 TCS London Marathon, which beat the current record of 55,646 finishers set by the TCS New York Marathon in November 2024.

It's route tours the capital's most famous landmarks and enjoys incredible crowd support! The TCS London Marathon is broadcast live on BBC platforms in the UK and in more than 190 countries around the world.
