Race HQ

Event HQ and the hub for this fantastic event will be 'The Mallard' located in the grounds of Westwood Lakes, a beautiful and peaceful location just on the outskirts of Boston.

Westwood Lakes boasts 7 fishing lakes and 30 luxury holiday lodges many of which runners will pass as they head out of the complex.

The Start/Finish line will be right outside the restaurant.

By car

Please access Westwood Lakes from West End Road not Fen Road. This is due to the road closure on Five House Lane On approach, follow the Black/Gold signs directing you to the parking, where the big flags will be to show you the entrance to the car park along with the parking marshals.

Really great run the start of the race warm up was very inspiring. Jason G

Was a really great first event here. I would definitely sign up for another next year! Sharon B

What can I say, the Battenberg cake was outstanding! Oh, the race, a fantastic local race with ample close parking, clear pre-race instructions and well marked out course with a mix of road, woods and lakes. Nice looking medal and, as promised cake and a drink at the end, did I mention how good the cake was? πŸ˜‹ bring on the 2024 mallard cake dash πŸ‘ Clive W

Fabulous event! The usual high standard of organisation and course makers that we have come to expect from Trident. Lovely atmosphere, fab course - cake was amazing 😊. I hope this becomes a regular fixture. Rose R

Great atmosphere, not too busy, fabulous cake at the end. The course was good with out and back section getting half the distance done before the wood bit for contrast. Nice medal. Jo B

The race was very well organised, signposted and friendly. Added bonus of cake and coffee at the end. I will definitely be running it again. Mike G

A truly lovely 5k route through the woods. Really friendly atmosphere. The medal and cake were amazing and it was a really nice touch to have a cake and coffee token for each finisher. Mel W
