Amazing time 10/10. This was the first marathon I’ve done and I had an amazing time and made many friends! Really lovely organisers. The left turn into the valley before the gliding club could have been better marked but I’m sure it was originally Felix S

Spectacular views, but you have to work hard. I was relieved that I could work hard in the first half to achieve the cut-off, although I was always going to be slower in the second half. It was well worth the effort! John C

Epic scenery, big hills! Absolutely stunning scenery. The hills are brutal and big. This was my first half marathon and I absolutely loved it Lisa D

Hard but enjoyable! Amazing snacks at checkpoint!! Claire P

When I can, I always enter the How Hard Can It Be Events, particularly ones that are set in the Shropshire Hills and the Long Mynd Tony B

Absolutely loved this event, from the beginning we were made to feel welcome with such a friendly bunch Tammy H

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
