- 10.5 km trail running + 644 ft ascent
Event overview
A combination of beautiful Meanwood Park and the Hollies, famous for well-kept paths through extensive woodlands, with a vast collection of different species of flowers, then onto the marvellous Meanwood Valley Trail, past the Seven Arches viaduct and Adel Crag.
This course, at this time of year, is very likely to be a mud bath. Due to the nature of the course (eg. narrow paths and technical sections). This course contains one small private road section, which is marshalled, and runners will be advised to stay on the pavement where possible.
All runners will be treated to a bowl of delicious soup after the run.

Headphones
Ideally not. It really is better to hear your fellow runners, listen to your breathing, and take in the atmosphere. But if you feel you just canβt run without them, headphones may be worn as long as you take responsibility for the volume to be low enough for you to hear all marshal instructions and the words of those around you. When approaching junctions or road crossings, you may be instructed to remove them until it is safe to put them back in.

Ace race - well attended on world class fast woodland trails .. Huge well done to Adam and the team .. Kelvin x Kelvin H.
Brilliant muddy fun. Had a great day, thank you. Tom B.
Great event, well organised, really friendly, delicious vegetable soup from Adam at the finish line! Christian M.
Lovely route, mainly through woodland. Really enjoyed the route, amazing Marshall’s, very supportive even to us slow runners at the back. Ruth g.
Another great run through the woods in the Meanwood Valley. Much better course marking this year, though still a few junctions where it wasn't entirley clear which way to go where an arrow or two would have come in handy. Paul T.
Was very suprised how hilly and technical if was in places , but we loved it , a small group of us came over from Haworth social runners and recommended it to all our group . Lee H.
This was my first event and the event was called the holy hustle. It was a great event which was well marshalled with a good pre-race brief too. Richard B.
Really enjoyed it and will be back. The use of red and white tape helped a lot to navigate when on your own. Paul B.
Loved the challenge of this trail run.......... I nearly fell once but it was great. John F.
