Walkers
You are welcome to complete the course at your own pace, however, there is a maximum time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes. This is very inclusive as even completing the route at a relatively slow walking pace will see you finish within 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you plan to walk the whole distance you are requested to allow runners to start in front of you.

A Men's 10K Glasgow Event Bus service will operate throughout the event for runners and spectators between Cathedral Street (City Centre), Riverside Museum (Start) and Glasgow Green (Finish). You can purchase a ticket for this service from the shop. There may be some tickets available for purchase on the day of the event, however these will be significantly more expensive. It is in your best interests to get the earliest bus possible, as this will reduce crowding and waiting time.

Route description
The Men's 10K in Glasgow starts at the spectacular setting of the Riverside Transport Museum.
The route heads East along the River Clyde and takes in the scenic views. Iconic buildings to look out for, including the Glasgow Science Centre, The Armadillo, The SEC and the SSE Hydro and all within the first 2km.
The route then heads over the Clyde and back, crossing over the 'Squiggly Bridge' and then George V Bridge. You will then start heading through the hustle and bustle of Glasgow's city centre heading up Buchanan Street just before you hit half way!
The second half of the route will take you past the south side of George Square and down towards Glasgow Green, taking in the beautiful park including the breathtaking People's Palace, where cheering crowds await to help in one last effort to cross the finish line where you’ll receive your well-earned medal, water and goodybag.
