Methlick 10K Race and 3K Children's Race | 10K

JogScotland Methlick are hosting their first ever race event! Following on from the former Methlick Fund Run and the recently held hugely successful Gight 8 Hill Run, the new race maintains and adds to the great local running tradition. A friendly local event, the race starts at the cricket pitch in the village of Methlick and heads up the valley. After 4Km, the trail climbs out of the valley to the farm steading, then back along the ridge of the valley, with spectacular views over the Ythan Valley and surrounding countryside. The route drops back to the valley floor and returns along the outward route back the the finish line on the cricket pitch. The 3K route starts and finishes on the cricket pitch and is an 'out and back' route through the woods.

Marshals and first aiders will be place at strategic position, and the route will be marked.

All participants will receive a unique hand crafted race medal, and there will be a prize giving ceremony at 11:30am in the village hall.

Refreshments will be served in the village hall. Please bring a donation for cakes to help raise funds for the Methlick School Parent Council.
