Event overview

This race is a firm favourite with beginners and experienced runners alike. The course is fast, beginning in Blaenavon and following a downhill, closed road route to finish in the beautiful surrounds of Pontypool Park. Beginners will have the knowledge that they have completed their first 10k in a record time. Participants will receive a goody bag at the finish line which will include a medal, tech tee shirt, water and a banana. This event is superbly suitable for all runners (min age 15 years), including those with disabilities. Transport is also provided from Pontypool to the start to help with parking in Blaenavon. An excellent PB for everyone, an opportunity not to be missed! In addition to the main 10k event, we also host a 2km fun run for the younger runners and families within Pontypool Park. Everyone joining in will receive a medal.
