Loved every moment of this event! The atmosphere was great! Vicky W

This is a wonderful friendly event made extra special by the Marshalls and event volunteers. We loved running in darkness whilst feeling safe and supported. The route was clearly explained and marked out where required. The aid stations were met with a smiley cheer and encouragement and the finish line was equally as supportive. A good mixture of abilities of runners. I felt just as valued as the faster runners even though I was nearly last. A beautiful chunky medal and the end too. We will be back and looking for more Grim Up North Events. A big thank you to all involved. Lizzie D

Loved every moment of this event! The atmosphere was great! Brian C

But different with it been in the dark and a fun way to spend a Saturday evening. Colin W

Friendly and relaxed. Nice small-scale event. Loved running in the dark for a change. Everything clear and well explained. Judith C

Great idea. Loved the run, fab idea. Just found that although the staff were friendly, I had to ask for everything. A clear explanation of what was going to happen while I registered would have been better. If I was new to running I think it would have been a bit off-putting .Fiona R

My first event! Loved this event. I’m not a runner but I’m pushing myself to try. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the run. The food and drink at the end was a great bonus. Sophie D

Very well organised. Perfect spot. Caroline M

Cracking location and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely go again. Josh G

A brilliant race, with a unique atmosphere and location. Do more of this. If Grim had a Northern Lights series of nighttime trail races I would sign up to every single one. I absolutely love nighttime trail races. Also, the soup was good. Tim B
