Great race with plenty of hills! Starting and finishing in beautiful Mount Ephraim gardens. James C
The beautiful grounds and gardens of Mount Ephraim in Faversham was the setting for this Sundayβs 10K race. This event was elected as an addition to the Kent Championships for our own local club championship race, making some good internal battles for us too.
The course is notoriously tricky with its undulating roads throughout the route as it winds itβs way through Herne Hill, Dargate and back to Mount Ephraim. Although there are several hills on the course, what comes up must come down and as a result runners were treated to a quick down hill start (after a lap of the cricket pitch) and a quick final 2K finish before a slight incline back into the grounds and across the finish line. Beautiful locations, very well staffed with supportive Marshalls, will definitely run next year. Emily G
Stunning run - scenic route, extremely well organised, and the atmosphere was super friendly! Celest V
I loved this run despite the heat and the hills! What a great venue and some lovely views when I could lift my head to look around. Everyone very friendly and helpful and thank you for the two drinks stations which were much appreciated. We are already planning to come back next year. Thank you for organising this run. Alex C
Such a beautiful location for a run! Great venue, stunning views throughout, great challenges (hills!) and a very pretty medal to end with. Positive/ supportive helpers too! :) Thank you! Rachel D
Very well organised , fun and friendly event. The extra water station was appreciated and really made a difference in the heat. The location was outstanding and my family very much enjoyed coming to watch and taking part in the kids race. Glenn B
