Event overview

The race will start at Stormont and finish in Ormeau Park. The Belfast event is renowned for the incredible local support and crowds to cheer you on throughout your 26.2 miles! The Team Relay follows the same route as the main Marathon Race and the Wheelchair Race. This event is perfect if you are exploring an interest in running as there are ‘legs’ of the marathon route ranging from approximately 4 to 7.5 miles. As the name suggests, this is very much a "team" based event rather than competitive. More often than not friends, work colleagues or schools will form a team and raise much needed funds for charity.

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
