Set in beautiful Bawsey Country Park, the Norfolk Festival of Running offers trail running across sand, gravel and grassy loops — ideal for first-timers through to seasoned ultrarunners.
With generous time limits, aid stations each lap, included parking and a relaxed vibe, this festival gives you full control to push for distance or simply enjoy the run.
Highlights
- Wide choice of distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, Half, Heavy Half-Marathon, Full Marathon or Ultra Marathon
- Looped trail course on sand, gravel and grass with easy navigation
- Aid station available every lap
- Flexible lap-based format with heavy half (5–7 laps) and ultra (typically 9 laps, optional up to 12)
- Welcoming for beginners and rewarding for experienced runners
- Parking included with entry; car park passed each lap
- Bespoke finisher medal (or standard finisher option) for every participant

On the day
- You will see the start area from the car park
- On arrival, proceed to registration to collect your bib numbers
- Please leave your belongings in your vehicles
- There will be no baggage but you will pass by the car park each lap
- The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and Lap point, where the water/aid station will be
- The Race director will call you all to the start line

The park is located on the B1145 between the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Gayton.
