Overton 5

The race will be held in 2023 and once again we are delighted to be the opening race of the 23/24 Hampshire Road Race League. The course remains unchanged, on fully closed roads and as with the past few editions of the race, plastic free. We are keeping the entry price the same too at £20 for Non EA affiliated runners and £18 for those that are.Also this year instead of the usual medals/mementos Overton Harriers will be donating the money usually set aside for this to both the Andover and Basingstoke Food Banks. Fun for All the Family. As usual we try to make this an afternoon for the whole family and in addition to the main race we will have :– A kids races on the field at race HQ before the Overton 5 and entry to the kids races is free– Tea / Coffee / Cakes and Bacon Sandwiches on sale from the local Scouts at the Race HQ– An Ice-Cream Van at the Race HQ for a post race treat– A fully licensed bar open from 3pm if you need a slightly stronger post race rewardWe look forward to seeing you on the start line!
