Event overview

The basecamp hub in idyllic Bakewell will welcome over 3,000 adventurers who will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park.

There’s a full range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality and welfare services across the weekend – with a full 100km Challenge which takes a tough and varied figure-of-eight route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery.

You’ll get full support all the way, and with three-quarter, half, quarter and 10-mile distance options, which pass Chatsworth House. There’s a Peak District Ultra Challenge for everyone!

The Ultra Challenge Experience

This endurance event is for a wide range of fitness and ages. Choose your distance and do it at your pace. The support enables you to go further, whilst enjoying the great outdoors and camaraderie.

There are marquee rest stops, plenty of food and drink, medical and massage teams, and a fully signed route with GPS tracking to guide you. A big finish-line celebration awaits with an amazing sense of achievement, and once the aches subside, you’ll feel energised and up for more of life’s challenges!

The Peak District Ultra Challenge® is fun, safe, and rewarding, with full support all the way, a fantastic figure of 8 route with weekend camping options at the Bakewell basecamp, enabling you to push yourself further in some wonderful, rugged countryside.

Overview

A great option if you want to join someone on the Full Challenge on Saturday evening to finish with them, or set off with most others on Saturday morning or early Sunday morning on your own fantastic challenge on Sunday. A start at Bakewell and then some fantastic southern Peaks scenery on the way back to the very welcome finish line and celebration at Bakewell basecamp.
