Event overview

The event is a scenic route through parkland and woodland as well as three small sections of road/pavement. The course is undulating (there is one main hill that people speak of!) with a mixture of surfaces. We will email participants of ground conditions a few days before the race so people are armed with knowledge when making shoe choices. We are grateful to the National Trust for allowing us to use their land for part of the course. As ever, we are also supported at race HQ by Laura's Larder and One Inn The Wood where you'll be able to purchase drinks and food. Our charity partners, St Christopher's Hospice and Demelza benefit greatly by your participation and we raise thousand of pounds for them each year, as do The National Trust. The Petts Wood 10k is renowned for being a well marshalled event with our volunteers not only ensuring safety and guidance but also excellent support, something that previous participants rave about. There will be a medal for all finishers with prizes for winning individuals (overall and age categories) and teams. There is one water station on the course with additional water at the end. Snacks and other drinks available to purchase.
