The Portaferry Gala 10 Mile Road Race, including a 2 x 5 mile relay race for teams of 2 runners, takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Portaferry, County Down on the Ards Peninsula.

It is one of the feature events in Portaferry Gala Week and offers a challenging but fast course for recreational and elite runners alike. The race starts at the Sports Centre, Cloughy Road, Portaferry, BT22 1ND and finishes in the town square. Portaferry Mugs will be given to the first 100 athletes to register. All finishers will receive a medal. Post race refreshments will be provided in St Columba's College Gym after the race.
