The original and popular multi-terrain route.
The Portsmouth Coastal Half is back this winter as part of an exciting new challenge weekend where you have the option to run the Langstone Harbour Half Marathon on Saturday and the Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon on Sunday for a special 3rd achievement medal.
Run one, or the other, or both - it's up to you.
Whatever you choose you'll enjoy a friendly, fun, community event celebrating the seaside venue with views over the ocean, whether you run in fancy dress or whether you're training for a marathon PB, this event's for you.
This event is part of Portsmouth Langstone Coastal Half Marathons Weekender.
Precise start time will be confirmed in the new year (dependent on tide times and coastal defense works) but it is likely to be between 9am and 10am.

A great route taking in a multitude of terrain. Plenty of space throughout for overtaking. Brilliant support around the course. Dave M
I've been running it regularly for nearly 10 years in all conditions and it's nearly impossible to find fault. Ben K
Well organised as usual. Great conditions this time. The D-Day Museum was a really good base for a bag drop, and had a good café. Brett R
Well run event... Nice route with tarmac, gravel and the seemingly infamous ‘muddy beach’ section gives a great variety! Flat course in general and different! Great medal - if you’re after that achievement bling! All in all, highly recommend anyone to take part, all abilities and great for beginners to get use to the distance. Todd P
A beautiful race! Easy sign up process and good value for money plus brilliant pre-race communication with plenty of updates before the date of the event. Claire T
Very smooth organisation, a nice medal and good post-race snacks. Communication before the day was regular and excellent. Easy to access and plenty of parking nearby. A mostly flat course taking in coastal paths, promenades, a beach and parks. A small interesting muddy beach to cross and beautiful views out across the harbour, especially on a sunny morning. Toby B
