The race starts and finishes at The Barn Elms Sports Centre which has the backdrop of the River Thames.
The race always has a great vibe and is well supported by some local organisations.
All runners will receive a medal for finishing as well as loads of goodies at the finish including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar! The latest chip timing technology is used so you will get an accurate finishing time and results are posted as soon as you cross the finish line!
An official race photographer will be in attendance around the course so make sure they catch you when you are looking your very best!
There will be a fun pre-race warm-up around 10 minutes before the race start to warm up those tight muscles, so you will be ready for the run.

Good, fun course. This isn't necessarily the course to run if you're trying to beat a PB as there are several sections where you have to slow down or even stop, and cannot overtake, either due to narrow pavement, moving around pedestrians, running along the bridge, which is also narrow etc. If you aren't at the front of the pack, you will quite often have to accept running at the pace of the other runners around you. However, in every other aspect, it's a great run! Well organised, good atmosphere, lots of people cheering, even people around Putney who just happened to be there were cheering us on. The course is varied, and I had a really good day. Michael P
