Event overview

This event is a 3 race program hosted in partnership with Gateshead Harriers & AC. Junior Quayside 3k (for U13, U15 & U17 athletes) Quayside 5k A-Race (Sub 20min) Quayside 5k B-Race – With PB Pacers. We welcome all runners to our event from beginners in their first race, to local international runners and we are committed to helping all runners at all levels to achieve a PB with the help of our PB Pacers who will run at a set pace from 20mins to 50mins. Run around the super-flat, out-back course along the Newcastle-Gateshead Quayside and take the opportunity to go for a personal best. The race route takes you along the River Tyne from the Newcastle side of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge to Newcastle Business Park, under the famous Tyne Bridge and returning to cross the iconic Gateshead Millennium Bridge to finish in Baltic Square.
