Race the Tide – Chase the Train

Minehead Running Club is proud to introduce our inaugural seaside race along the beach from Blue Anchor to Minehead and back along the coastal path on the day of the 2026 Blue Moon. The race is open to anyone over 18. The race also forms part of the Somerset Series. A multi-surface race of approximately 7 miles in total along the beach from Blue Anchor to Minehead, then back along the coastal path beside the West Somerset Steam Railway. The course has uneven surfaces in places, mainly along the golf course and the beach with small but smooth pebbles. The steam train sets off at 11.16 so the best of luck being there in time.
