Combat Stress
The UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.
We believe military trauma shouldn’t destroy the lives of veterans and their families.
When some military personnel leave service, their experiences can’t easily be left behind. Without treatment, psychological trauma can eventually tear lives apart.

We have over 100 years of experience caring for veterans and our role today is to help those with some of the most complex challenges arising from military service, like PTSD. Through our clinical research we work closely with veterans to better understand trauma recovery and continually develop our cutting-edge mental health expertise.
We deliver life-changing treatment, bringing together professionals with a specialist focus to meet individual needs. It’s a service that thousands depend on. No one else does what we do.
We are Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. At a time that can be isolating and daunting, help us treat and support more veterans. By tackling their past, they can take on the future.
Your support can be life-changing.

While a lot has changed over the last 100 years, one thing remains the same: how vital our support is to the veteran community. It’s only thanks to generous support from challenge fundraisers that we’re able to provide our specialist treatment to veterans. We need help to meet the demand for our services. With the funds available to us today, we can only help some of those who turn to us.
